Putin Brought His Own Dog to Sochi Feb 8, 2014 Yume, a two year-old Akita, was a gift from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as a sign of thanks for Russia’s assistance after a massive earthquake and tsunami struck Japan in 2011. Her name means “Dream” in Japanese. Putin and Abe met today at the presidential residence outside Sochi on the margins of the Winter Olympics. Abe petted Yume and said “good dog” in Russian, according to RIA Novosti. “Yes, but she can bite sometimes,” Putin reportedly replied.

Of the 2012 Olympic Phoenix “Heart Soul of Ra”

SS: this is very noble and friendly thing .. i think this since i name my son “phoenix” for the constellation of the Phoenix and also the city of Phoenix “beehive capital of the world”. and also because las vegas descending eagle and the rising phoenix from the ashes .. the benu bird traveled from the Phoenix constellation and has completed the Beehive Cluster passage .

“I go in like the Hawk, and I come forth… like the Bennu, the Morning Star ( the planet Venus… or Sirius )… of Ra; I am the Bennu… which is in Heliopolis” “I am the Bennu bird, the Heart-Soul of Ra, the Guide of the Gods to the Tuat.”.

The Remarkable Phoenix Cluster 08.15.12 This galaxy cluster has been dubbed the “Phoenix Cluster” because it is located in the constellation of the Phoenix, and because of its remarkable properties, as explained here and in our press release. Stars are forming in the Phoenix Cluster at the highest rate ever observed for the middle of a galaxy cluster. The object is also the most powerful producer of X-rays of any known cluster, and among the most massive of clusters. The data also suggest that the rate of hot gas cooling in the central regions of the cluster is the largest ever observed.

This undated handout artist illustration provided by NASA shows a cosmic supermom. It’s a galaxy that gives births to more stars in a day than ours does in a year. Astronomers used NASA’s X-Ray telescope to spot this distant galaxy creating about 740 new stars a year. By comparison our Milky Way galaxy spawns just about one new star each year. This new galaxy is about 5.7 billion light years away. It is in the center of a recently discovered cluster of galaxies that give the brightest x-ray glow astronomers have seen. The study appears Wednesday in the journal Nature. (AP Photo/NASA)

Opening Ceremony of the 2004 Greek Olympic Games

SS: i think the 2004 olympic games opening ceremony was one the best we have seen. i decided now would be a good time to look back on it. this blog shows some of the data i have archived and i will update my research sometime soon. i try to show the main points of the ceremony but there were many interesting scenes such as perseus fighting the hydra to free andromeda from her bonds .

Shall such high purpose fail of emulation, such achievement and example not excite us to like striving? Then let Earth fall indeed from her high place in heaven, and mankind be outcast forever from the Sun! Men of Earth! Seek out the heirs of Atlas; let them order you into a phalanx, let them build you into a pyramid; that may pierce that appointed which awaits you, to establish a new dynasty of Atlanteans to be the mainstay and mainspring of the Earth, the pioneers of their own path to heaven, and to our lord and Father, the Sun! And he put his hand upon his thigh, and swore it. — Liber Li by A.’.A.’.
