Many versions of the Twin Myth must have circulated among the Mayas, but the only one that survives in a written form is the Classical K’iche’ version in the Popol Vuh. According to this version, the Hero Twins were Xbalanque and Hunahpu (Modern K’iche’: Xb‘alanke and Junajpu)

Planetary Alignment Eclipse Weekend

SS: this weekend we prepare for the upcoming eclipse with the moon moving into the ongoing priestess mega-comet planetary alignment .. the skymaps show the moon as it moves into the alignment with the planets and the mega-comet starting 27 may through 31 may.

Four Planets Align Near Moon on Memorial Day Weekend 27 May 2011 The unusual month-long convergence of four planets in the pre-dawn sky is nearing an end, as the planets begin separating from each other and going their separate ways. But one final series of meetings is on tap for this Memorial Day weekend. Between Sunday and Tuesday (May 29 and 31), the planets Jupiter, Venus, Mars and Mercury will appear in a grouping with a bonus visitor: the moon. Weather permitting, skywatchers can look low to the east-northeast horizon about a half hour before sunrise and see the four planets arrayed in a line.

The Maya made daytime observations of Venus. Venus had a psychological effect upon the Maya and other Mesoamerican cultures, it has been shown that the Maya were timing some of their wars based on the stationary points of Venus and Jupiter.

SS: following the month long priestess mega-comet planetary alignment in may will culminate into a month-long MEGA-ECLIPSE in june 2011 which will precede the arrival of the incoming ix-chel-sekhmet and the passage of the benu-bird through the delphinus loop .. the first solar eclipse begins in the constellation of taurus near Pleiades and also the priestess mega-comet .. it will occur at the north pole of the earth on 01 june 2011 . see starmap below:

Whereas the Egyptians studied the movements of the Hyades, Orion and its companion star Sirius, the Maya were more interested in the nearby Pleiades star-cluster. They viewed it as the warning rattle of a great cosmic serpent, which seems to have corresponded to the ecliptic. The head of this serpent was the sun and they believed that it was the source of all life on earth.

Grimsvotn Volcano Kirkjubaejarklaustur Iceland Eclipse Eruption

05-22-11iceland_volcano01_r2171815276

SS: this eruption has occurred as we prepare for the first solar eclipse next week  01 june 2011 of a month long mega-eclipse .. sometimes we see events happen either before or after eclipses .. i have heard from some volcano expert that when this eruption occurs we need to make it ok and pretend it really is not happening even though when other volcano erupt it is a big deal even when they are more common which shows that for some must pick and choose which volcano because this one upon eruption we need to “make it ok” whatever that actually means .

Ash is seen creeping into the town of Kirkjubaejarklaustur, early morning May 22, 2011. Iceland’s most active volcano erupted on Saturday, hurling a plume of ash and smoke far into the sky, which aviation officials were closely monitoring after another volcano shut European airspace for days last year. Authorities banned flights close to the Grimsvotn volcano but an official said the eruption was not expected to affect European airline traffic at least for the next 24 hours. A dead lamb lies covered in ash near Kirkjubaearklaustur 260 km (162 miles) from Reykjavík, Iceland Tuesday May 24 2011 after the Grimsvotn volcano began erupting on Saturday, sending clouds of ash high into the air that have then been carried toward the European continent on the wind. Experts say that particles in the ash could stall jet engines and sandblast planes’ windows. The ash cloud forced US President Barack Obama to shorten a visit to Ireland on Monday, and has raised fears of a repeat of huge travel disruptions in Europe last year when emissions from another of Iceland’s volcanos, Eyjafjalljokull, stranded millions of passengers.(AP Photo/Brynjar Gauti )

Of the Queen Bee Royal Jelly

SS: what is the royal jelly that the priestess queen bee eats that makes her a queen bee ?? as can be seen all bees eat the royal jelly but only the queens continue to eat it, the regular worker bees go eat regular honey .. now i have said this before that the priestess must eat the dew drop which i have shown .. it is the priestess queen bee that is etched upon the side of our planet as a mermaid with her mirror that reflects the astral light .

What Makes a Queen Bee? One Special Protein, Apparently April 24, 2011 It’s long been known that a female bee’s place in the social order—whether she becomes a worker or a queen—depends not on her genes, but on whether she eats  royal jelly. A study published in Nature found that royalactin, a protein found in royal jelly, is responsible for many of the physical differences that distinguish queens from the hoi polloi of the hive. This finding also shines light on how, at a cellular level, royal jelly turns bees into queens. All honeybees eat royal jelly for the first three days after the hatch, but only the queens-to-be continue to eat it, while other bees switch to a diet based on honey.

China to provide Pakistan 50 JF-17 Thunder jets

JF-17 Thunders: Pakistan to get 50 Chinese jets in six months May 21, 2011 BEIJING: Pakistan hopes to take delivery within the next six months of 50 JF-17 fighter jets manufactured jointly with China, Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar said on Friday during a visit to Beijing. The Pakistani Air Force has ordered 150 “Thunders”, which it may increase to 250. The 50 mentioned in the report are likely part of the larger order. In February 2010, Pakistan fielded its first JF-17 squadron with 14 aircraft.

MEGA-DRAGON-STORM Continues on Saturn

SS: the mega dragon storm that began right after V1 Ikeya-Murakami outburst near saturn last november 2010 continues .. this is the largest storm we have seen on saturn has lasted so far six months .. raging amplified dragon-storm continues on saturn the “ring of soul” . .

Cassini and Telescope See Violent Saturn Storm May 19, 2011  PASADENA, Calif. — NASA’s Cassini spacecraft and a European Southern Observatory ground-based telescope tracked the growth of a giant early-spring storm in Saturn’s northern hemisphere that is so powerful it stretches around the entire planet. The rare storm has been wreaking havoc for months and shooting plumes of gas high into the planet’s atmosphere.

“Nothing on Earth comes close to this powerful storm,” says Leigh Fletcher, the study’s lead author and a Cassini team scientist at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. “A storm like this is rare. This is only the sixth one to be recorded since 1876, and the last was way back in 1990.”

The violence of the storm — the strongest disturbances ever detected in Saturn’s stratosphere — took researchers by surprise. What started as an ordinary disturbance deep in Saturn’s atmosphere punched through the planet’s serene cloud cover to roil the high layer known as the stratosphere.

Updrafts of Large Ammonia Crystals in Saturn Storm This false-color infrared image, obtained by NASA’s Cassini spacecraft, shows clouds of large ammonia ice particles dredged up by a powerful storm in Saturn’s northern hemisphere. Large updrafts dragged ammonia gas upward more than 30 miles (50 kilometers) from below. The ammonia then condensed into large crystals in the frigid upper atmosphere. This storm is the most violent ever observed at Saturn by an orbiting spacecraft.

Thermal infrared images of Saturn from the Very Large Telescope Imager and Spectrometer for the mid-Infrared (VISIR) instrument on the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope, on Cerro Paranal, Chile, appear at center and on the right. An amateur visible-light image from Trevor Barry, of Broken Hill, Australia, appears on the left. The images were obtained on Jan. 19, 2011, during the mature phase of the northern storm. The second image is taken at a wavelength that reveals the structures in Saturn’s lower atmosphere, showing the churning storm clouds and the central cooler vortex. The third image is sensitive to much higher altitudes in Saturn’s normally peaceful stratosphere, where we see the unexpected beacons of infrared emission flanking the central cool region over the storm. Great Planetary Alignment of 2011 Near Priestess Planet

SS: the great planetary alignment of 2011 continues near the xena priestess planet and mega-comet which will culminate into the month-long mega-eclipse next month starting with the first solar eclipse on 01 june followed by the hunab ku beehive region eclipse near the nunki star and lagoon nebula rose and ending in another solar eclipse on 01 july .. on another note cannot wait for the new dark matter data from NASA’s new Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer cosmic ray detector launched by endeavor yesterday morning .

MORNING PLANETS: The Great Morning Planet Show of May 2011 is only half over. There are still 14 mornings to go. The show’s second act began on May 16th with three bright planets hovering over space shuttle Endeavour: “I witnessed the launch of Endeavour early Monday morning and was greeted by this scene when I arrived at NASA’s VIP viewing site on Banana Creek,” says photographer Tom Cocchiaro of the New Hampshire Astronomical Society. “It was as though the Gods were watching over Endeavour as it sat perched on the launch pad in the early twilight hours. Too cool for words.”
